A warm welcome

You are studying at the KHSB, do not have German citizenship, have not obtained your university entrance qualification in Germany and are faced with the following challenges:

  • You have recently enrolled at the KHSB and still have questions,
  • You are not yet able to follow the courses well and want to improve your German language skills,

  • You would like to become more confident with presentations and assignments and take part in workshops on academic work, writing and presenting,
  • You have questions about financing your studies,
  • You would like to exchange ideas with other international and interested KHSB students.

Then you can choose from internal and external programmes.

German courses
What programmes are available at the KHSB?

The KHSB does not offer German language courses. The Student Parliament (StuPa) organises peer tandems for first-semester students. You can exchange ideas with students from higher semesters in an informal atmosphere. All you have to do is register on a list at the StuPa. We would also like to encourage you not to have any inhibitions. You will only become confident once you have practised the language.

What external services are available?

There are various external offers for German language courses in Berlin. The language centres of Berlin's universities and major universities of applied sciences generally offer German courses for a fee. Please enquire about the dates in good time. The application for language courses takes place before the start of the respective lecture period.

Networking

In the summer semester, there is also the International Picnic in the courtyard and the International Table at the Hoffest. You can always find the current dates under "Dates and announcements".
