Corporate Design

Our university has revised its visual identity and further developed its corporate design in order to strengthen the university's brand identity, connect the brand family and improve the overall visual profile of university communication. A uniform and consistent visual representation of the university brand is intended to increase the visibility of the KHSB and make it more recognisable.

The KHSB style guide contains extensive specifications and numerous examples for the visual appearance of the Catholic University of Applied Social Sciences. Here you will find an overview of the most important elements of the style guide. The uniform visual appearance of the KHSB is based on specific colours, fonts, symbols and shapes. These basic elements are always valid, regardless of the respective medium, be it print or digital.

If you have any questions about the corporate design, please contact the staff unit.

  • The photos are intended exclusively for editorial reporting on the KHSB. Use of the photos for commercial purposes, in particular for advertising, is not permitted.
  • The copyright must always be indicated when the photos are used.
  • The use in collages as well as any modification by means of image processing that goes beyond scaling, contrast or colour enhancement is not permitted.
Specimen copy

We ask print media for a (digital) specimen copy, in the case of electronic media for a brief notification with a link to the publication.

Logos

The university logo consists of a figurative mark and a word mark with a subline and is primarily used as shown in the illustration. However, it is also possible to use the logo inverted in white on a coloured, dark background or in black on light coloured backgrounds.

As a rule, the logo with figurative mark and subline is used for all formats. For very small formats, the logo must be used in a customised format. This is the case if the logo size is less than 2 cm wide. For very small square application areas, for example as an app icon or as a favicon for a website, another logo variant is used.

In addition to the main logo and the logo variants mentioned above, there are also institute and pillar logos. For more details, please refer to the style guide. If you have any questions, please contact the staff unit.
