AI in Social Work – Research Week 2026
The three-day Research Week explores the opportunities, challenges, and implications of Artificial Intelligence in Social Work. Researchers, practitioners, students, educators, community organisations, and policy actors are invited to engage in interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration.
Participants are invited to present current research findings, innovative practice projects, and emerging approaches in the field. Through discussion and collaborative reflection, the event aims to foster the exchange of best practices while also identifying research gaps and future fields of inquiry relevant to the development of Social Work.

Registration for the Research Week and submission of abstracts via email: AI-ResearchWeek@khsb-berlin.de
Please include:
- title of contribution
- author(s) and institutional affiliation
- preferred format (talk, poster, tool-demonstration)
- short abstract (up to 300 Words)
All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the organising and academic committee prior to acceptance.
