Certificate courses
Certification standards
The work-related academic continuing education programmes of the Continuing Education Unit, which extend over a longer period of time and enable intensive teaching and learning processes, can be certified.
Our continuing education courses are based on a dialogue-based, process-oriented understanding of education. The focus is on imparting specialist knowledge at a scientific level combined with methods of adult-orientated teaching and learning and orientation towards the existing skills of the participants. We strive to strengthen the professional and personal skills of professionals in the various fields of social and health-related work.
This involves the ability to implement acquired knowledge in a way that is appropriate to the situation, to be strengthened in professional self-reflection and to be able to relieve oneself in everyday professional activities.
- The content and objectives as well as the conditions for obtaining the certificate are described in the curriculum.
- The requirements for participation are transparent and are included in the curriculum; as a rule, relevant professional experience is a prerequisite.
- The continuing education programme includes an individual assignment (term paper or the implementation, documentation and presentation of an individual project/topic).
- The teachers have at least 5 years of professional experience and additional methodological training and many years of experience in adult education.
- The teaching materials are made available to the participants digitally.
- The training programme may be assessed with credits.
- The continuing education programme is regularly evaluated and the results are incorporated into the updating of the curriculum.
